Bandung, Home Sweet Home

I didn’t update my blog for weeks. What did I do in my first two weeks? Well for those who are curious, you may read this post. But if you don’t, just close this tab now. Hahaha.

It was so hard to get over my great experiences in Lithuania. I kept on looking at the pictures that I took, and I kept on chatting with my loves. Everything was stilll fresh in my mind, and I suddenly had an amazing idea. I wanted to print my photos and stick it on my wall.

So I selected the photos from my laptop, and I got around 600 photos. Well that’s too much cos I wanted to print, cut, and stick it by myself. So I deleted some photos, and I finally got 378 photos to be printed.

After 14 hours of work (because my printer was a little bit broken, my double tape was suck, and it was super hard to cut 378 photos), I finally done my works, and it was probably my best and most memorable masterpiece hahaha. By the way, I’m planning to stick more photos as soon as I have my free time.

Another memorable thing happened during my first 2 weeks here! Three GSAs (Google Student Ambassadors) from the other cities came to my city and spent some days together.

Bandung is a city of culinary, so it’s obvious that I took my friends to eat. These are the places that we visited during our 4 days vacation here.

Paskal Food Market is basically a big food court with some famous food stalls in it. The view was great and chilly. Check out our photos!

In our second day, I took them to Lembang, a small city which located near Bandung. We ate bakso (meatball), then went to a religious place, to “floating market”, to the most famous shopping mall in Bandung, ate some Japanese meals, then took my friend to a factory outlet.

In the next day, we ate meat ball again (this one is my favorite!), then we went to Lembang again. I took them to a very fancy hotel to take some beautiful photos. Well it was kinda embarassing cos we came there ONLY to take some photos. The staffs were staring at us cos we were not staying there. But trust me, that moment was one of the most memorable moments in my whole life haha.

Then I took them to an outbond place. We wanted to go outbond, but once we reached that place, we decided to just chill there.

It wasn’t the end yet. We went to a fancy (for me it’s fancy) cafĂ©, Lisung. The place and view was really beautiful there! Even my dad loves that place so much. So we ate some fancy foods and did some fancy stuffs. FYI, fancy things for me are not fancy for others.

It’s dessert time! We went to eat ice cream at “Rasa”. We bought 2 portions of ice cream for four of us.

That was our last day together cos all of them left a day after that. Well this holiday was so memorable for me! Thanks everyone! I love you all!

After they all left, I was alone here. But wait, I wasn’t lonely! Check this out! It explains everything!

Google Office Jakarta

I finally arrived at around 20.30 (Indonesian time GMT +7). My mom, dad, and brother were waiting for me (or my gifts?) at the airport. I was so glad that I finally met them after more than 7 weeks. But it wasn’t last long because I had to go to Kibar Office (Google’s agent in Indonesia).

I had to stay there for a night because I had to attend a training at Google office a day after that. So I went there, met my friends, had some chats, then went to sleep.

We woke up early, took a taxi, and went to the Google Office. It wasn’t really big, but it was really cool! Here I attached some photos that I took there.

It was a pity that I couldn’t attend the first day of training cos I was still in Hong Kong at that time. But the second day was really important for me. We learnt about soft skills there, and I got more tips and tricks from the speakers.

The training was tiring for me, but it was really fun! We stayed there until around 7 PM, then some of us went back to Kibar office, while the others went back home. I wanted to stay there for one more night, but I was too tired and still had my jetlag. Oh and one more thing, I miss my family soo bad!

Then after a long journey and got lost several times, I arrived home, met my family, and finally slept on my own bed. But still, I left my mind and heart in Lithuania. I miss everything there!
