new dorm, new people

ENGLISH

Today was my last day staying in Evelina’s place. I was really sad because that place was so comfortable, and the people were really nice to me. Oh and one more thing, the foods there are really great! But I had to go anyway.

So I woke up at 7, then I did updated my blog and did my presentation again. Then when Evelina woke up, we had our breakfast together.

Then we went up again after we finished our breakfast. Evelina asked me to write something on her wall, in my language. Well I wrote a phrase in my language, and a phrase in Chinese hahaha.

After we finished with everything, we went to the bus stop near Evelina's place. It wasn't far away, but my 23-kg luggage made it worse. And Evelina was the one who carried my super luggage everywhere. I feel so bad for her. Thanks Evelina!

Well we took 2 buses to go to our new dorm. I'm so lucky that I have a free pass for a month. So I don't need to pay anything if I wanna go by buses.

We arrived there about 45 minutes later, and we met Eimantas and Murilo. Eimantas is a Lithuanian who runs the project, and Murilo is an intern from Brazil. Murilo was working (proffesional internship) in Romania since December 2013 before he came here, so he has lots of experiences. Nice one dude!

Okay so we finally found our dorm and our room. That's good! We have enough space for 3 interns here. And because there are only 2 interns now (Murilo and I), so we're staying together in a room. Yeah, he's my roomate for a day.

So we put our luggage in our room, then we chilled out for about an hour, and we went out to the old town to meet the team member of our project : Evelina, Eimantas, Armanda, Wendy (we can say that she's also an intern), and also Murilo's buddy, Ruta. We went hang out together and ate some cheese finger (if I'm not mistaken).

I was the only asian here. And I'm the shortest one lol. Ah you know, when I greeted Ruta for the first time, she said "ah you're so small" hahahaha lol! In Indonesia, no one told me that I'm small.

Oh and one time, when we ate our snacks, Wendy suddenly poked me and pointed to some Korean tourists and said "hey that's your friends!!" hahahahahaha yeah I was so happy to see some asian (finally). Asians are pretty hard to find here. And because I have a super asian face, few days ago, when I was in the bus (by myself), someone recognized me as a foreigner and helped me to find the bus stop. Sometimes it's good to be a foreigner haha.

Back to topic. While we were eating, Eimantas suggested a game for us to get to know each other. We had to talk about ourselves for a minute, as fast and as many information as possible. Well from that game, I know that :

• Evelina doesn't study anything now, she has a 6-year-old sister and a 22-year-old brother. She's now our project coordinator, and she just turned 19 six days ago.
• Murilo was having an internship in Romania for 6 months, he loves Romania, but he hates his job at the call center. He is the only child, but he has so many cousins. He was graduated in 2012, and he's from Brazil.
• Eimantas studies creative communication. He has lots of free times, so that he joined AIESEC. He loves to play guitar, and he has a 23-year-old brother
• Ruta studies physics, and she loves art. She's afraid of pigeons (its poops actually haha). And she loves to break rules
• Armanda loves baby baby baby. She's 19 and she has 4 brothers from 4 different mothers. She studies phychology, but she doesn't like it
• Wendy is a girl from Czech Republic, she lives with her boyfriend. She was a secretary, and she doesn't find that job interesting. She's now interested in international relation.

We finished our snacks, then we went to a hill (Ruta and Wendy didn't join us). There's an old tower there, and we went there. We spent some time there and looked at the scenery. We could see the old town at one side, and the modern city at the other side. That was awesome!

Well that was the last tourism spot that we visited. Then we took care of other things (Murilo's sim card and bus card) after that, then we went back home. I went back together with Murilo, the Brazilian guy. But before we got back home, we stopped at a supermarket and bought some foods. We were so hungry!

That was the last place that we visited. We went back to our dorm after that, then ate our sandwiches, took a bath, did our work, and went to sleep. What a great day.

BAHASA

Hari ini hari terakhir gue tinggal di rumah Evelina. Sedih sih, soalnya udah nyaman banget. Tempat enak, makan juga enak, sama orang-orangnya baik-baik banget. Tapi gue tetep harus pindah ke dorm.

Gue bangun jam 7 pagi ini, gue update blog gue, terus bikin presentasi lagi. Terus gue sarapan sesudah Evelina bangun.

Seudah beres sarapan, gue naik lagi ke kamar Evelina karena dia minta gue nulis di tembok dia. Dia pengen gue nulis sesuatu dengan bahasa Indo. Dan karena dia pengen punya banyak bahasa gitu, jadi gue dengan sotoynya nulis juga dalam bahasa mandarin (gue pake google translate sih hahaha).

Setelah gue beres nulis, kita jalan ke bus stop deket rumah Evelina. Ga jauh sih, tapi karena kita bawa koper 23 kilo, jadi kerasa super jauh gitu. Dan Evelina ga mau gue yang bawa koper. Dia selalu maksa gue buat diem dan dia yang bawa koper. Ga enak banget dah beneran. Tapi thanks anyway :')

Nah dari rumah Evelina gue naik bus nomer 61, terus turun, dan pindah ke bus yang lebih gede, yaitu nomer 2G. Perjalanan gue kira-kira 45 menitan. Gue ga masalah sih mau naik bus berapa kali juga. Toh gue punya free pas buat sebulan hahaha. Gue bisa naik bus gratis sebulan. Wohoo.

Sesampai di deket dorm, gue ketemu sama Eimantas dan Murilo. Eimantas itu orang AIESEC Lithuania. Dia salah satu panitianya juga. Nah kalo Murilo itu sama-sama intern (kaya gue), dan dia dari Brazil. Sebelum ini Murilo magang di Romania (AIESEC juga). Jadi dia udah banyak banget pengalaman gini-gini.

Oke jadi singkat cerita, gue sampe di dorm gue. Dormnya untuk 3 orang dan cukup luas. Bagus sih, layak tinggal banget kok. Dan berhubung intern yang dateng baru gue sama Murilo, jadi kita tinggal di satu kamar. Dia jadi roomate gue hari ini.

Setelah kita naro koper-koper jumbo kita di kamar, kita leha-leha dulu sekitar sejam (Evelina sama Eimantas pergi dulu, jadi tinggal gue sama Murilo). Kita janjian sama Evelina dkk di city center jam 3an. Jadi kita pergi dari sini sekitar jam 2.30.

Kita yang ga ngerti apa-apa tentang jalan di sini cuma bisa ngandelin peta dan display penunjuk di bus. Kita tenang-tenang aja karena display bus masih belum nunjukkin tempat yang kita tuju. Terus tanpa sengaja sengaja gue duduk di sebelah ibu-ibu bule gitu. Kita sempet ngobrol-ngobrol, dan dia nanya gue mau ke mana. Selidik punya selidik, ternyata bus stopnya udah kelewat. Display penunjuknya salah. zonk.

Jadi gue sama Murilo jalan lumayan jauh ke bus stop yang seharusnya, dan Evelina dkk udah nungguin. Di sana ada Evelina, Ruta (buddynya Murilo), sama Wendy (bisa dibilang dia intern juga kaya kita, dan dia dari Ceko).

Gue satu-satunya orang asia di sini, dan gue ngerasa pendek banget. Waktu gue pertama kali ketemu Ruta, dia megang kepala gue dan bilang ,"ah you're so small" hahahahaha. Di Indo ga ada orang yang bilang gue small lol

Oh dan satu kali kita lagi makan snacks kita, terus Wendy tiba-tiba nyenggol gue dan nunjuk ke arah turis Korea dan bilang "liat! tuh ada temen lu!" hahaha. Di sini emang jarang banget sih orang asia. Jadi sekalinya liat orang asia tuh gue excited banget. Dan beberapa hari lalu, karena muka gue yang super asia, orang-orang di bis langsung tau kalo gue bukan orang sini. Jadi orang di sebelah gue langsung bantu ngasih tau gitu gue harus turun di mana. Kadang enak juga jadi foreigner hahaha.

Oke kembali ke topik. Jadi waktu gue makan, Eimantas punya ide buat bikin game gitu. Kita harus memperkenalkan diri kita selama 1 menit. Ga boleh berhenti, harus cepet, dan sebanyak mungkin kita harus ngasih info tentang kita. Nah dari game ini, yang gue dapet :

• Evelina lagi ga kuliah sekarang. Dia punya adik cewe umur 6 taun, koko umur 22 taun. Dia adalah koordinator dari project gue, dan dia baru aja ulang taun ke 19 enam hari yang lalu
• Murilo baru aja selesai magang di Romania (dia magang 6 bulan). Dia seneng Romania, tapi dia ga suka kerjaan dia di call center. Dia anak satu-satunya, tapi dia punya banyak sepupu. Dia udah lulus taun 2012 kemaren.
• Eimantas kuliah creative communication, dia punya banyak waktu luang, dan oleh karena itu dia join AIESEC. Dia seneng gitar, dan dia punya kakak umur 23
• Ruta kuliah fisika, dan dia seneng seni. Dia benci banget sama merpati karena suka boker sembarangan. Dan dia suka ngelanggar aturan
• Armanda suka banget sama bayi dan anak kecil. Dia sekarang 19 taun, belajar psikologi, tapi dia ga suka psikologi. Dia punya 4 saudara laki-laki dari 4 ibu yang beda.
• Wendy dateng dari Ceko, dia tinggal sama pacarnya. Dia dulu sekretaris, tapi dia ga seneng jadi sekretaris. Sekarang dia lagi suka sama international relation

Sesudah kita beres makan, Ruta dan Wendy harus pergi, dan kita pergi ke bukit gitu. Di bukit itu ada tower-tower tua. Keren banget. Kita cukup lama di sana. Ngobrol-ngobrol sama liat-liat doang sih. Bener deh keren banget. Di satu sisi kita bisa liat old town, dengan bangunan-bangunan tuanya. Dan di sisi lain kita bisa ngeliat kota yang lebih modern.

Itu tempat wisata terakhir yang kita datengin. Terus kita misah dan balik ke tempat masing-masing. Gue pergi sama Murilo. Sebelum sampe dorm, kita nyimpang dulu ke supermarket dan beli makanan karena kita laper banget. Kita juga beli susu buat besok paginya. Terus seudah itu kita balik ke dorm, terus bikin sandwich, dan makan bareng.

Ga kenyang sih, tapi lumayan hahaha. Seudah itu kita mandi, nugas, dan tidur. Cape banget tapi keren wohoo!
